BetaNYC partnered with SignNexus for the NYC School of Data 2025 conference at CUNY School of Law in March 2025. NYC School of Data is a one-day community conference with a focus on public interest technology, open data, and service design. The day was jam-packed with panels, workshops, demos, talks, and presentations with NYC agencies, civil society organizations, and the individuals who make it all happen.
We seamlessly booked (4) ASL Interpreters with SignNexus, with two interpreters focused on the mainstage and two additional interpreters accompanying a Deaf attendee as he attended several different sessions throughout the venue.
The interpreters were professional, skilled, and diverse. The admin team was responsive and helpful with meeting BetaNYC's requests as well as communicating interpreter needs up front.
We recommend SignNexus and will certainly work with them again in the future!
